Exterior and interior design of 2022 Audi E-Tron GT
RS model featuring styling very similar to the original 2018 concept car. Very sloping roofline, wide body and shoulder line, and low hood. This car uses the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) chassis as the Porsche Taycan. However, the E-tron GT is 30mm longer and taller than the Porsche Taycan.
A new interpretation of the single-frame grille, the honeycomb pattern is painted in the same body color with black accents throughout. Although you can choose between gray or black with a rear diffuser. The purpose of this grill is not to circulate the air, but to hide the number of sensors that are used in this car.
The interior uses a driver-oriented design. The display and the buttons in the middle are tilted towards the driver. The dash features an angular technical design with a piano black bezel around the center touch screen with an MMI system like the Audi A6 and A7. The 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus instrument display has three modes: Classic, Sport and E-tron.
Audi E-Tron GT Engine and performance
The Audi E-Tron GT Quattro has two electric motors permanently positioned on the front and rear axles, with a two-speed transmission for the rear and a single ratio for the front. The battery runs on the same 800-volt system as the Taycan and is rated at 85 kWh. Capable of quickly charging 270 kW of DC, and has a WLTP rating of up to 303 miles. The power of these two engines reaches 469 hp with an overboost function that will increase the power of 53 hp for 2.5 seconds. Resulting in a maximum power of 522 hp with 465 lb-ft of torque. That overboost will be activated with a full throttle application and help the E-Tron GT accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 152 mph.
Audi RS E-Tron GT Equipped with two electric motors positioned on each axle. The Audi RS E-Tron GT offers a maximum power of 636 hp when the overboost function is activated. That will only last 2.5 seconds, so the actual horsepower figures are 589 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque. Speed is 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and top speed is 155 mph. The RS has an official WLTP range of 293 miles, slightly different from the quattro model.
